How old are you and when is your birthday?

I am at the moment 24 but I will celebrate my 25th birthday Jan. 28th 2014!

Are you single?

No, I have known my boyfriend for a year and a half, but we recently turned our friendship into a relationship. We've been dating now for four months and it's amazing.

Do you have a child?
Not at the moment, but it will happen in the future.

What is your favorite item of clothing you own?

A purple dress with white polka dots that I thrifted from my great grandmother's closet a couple years ago. It stops a couple inches under my knees and I love, love, love it.

What year were you born?

1989.

Where were you born? Where do you currently reside?

Born and raised in Connecticut and I actually still reside here.

What size are you?

I have spent my life battling internally with my weight. At my heaviest I was a size 24/26 but as of December 2012 I have maintained a size 16.

What college did you attend?

I attended Briarwood College (now known as Lincoln College) and majored in Early Childhood Development. I just recently decided to attend Marinello School of Beauty to get my cosmetology license (also become a certified make up artist!).

Who is your style icon(s)?

It may seem weird, but I have always adored Solange Knowles but I am also transfixed by the one and only Princess Diana. They both scream elegance in their own ways.

What made you want to start your own blog?

While I attend cosmetology school, I want to continue to explore my own world of beauty and fashion and figured I would take a chance with a blog.

What are your thoughts on those who think you and other plus size bloggers are promoting obesity?

Well for starters, not everyone can wear clothing in the single digits. While I have worked hard for the last four years to shed some of the weight I carried around as an adult, I am content and happy in my size sixteen jeans. I find every shape and size beautiful and it proves that some people are still very closed minded today.

What are your favorite cosmetics you currently use?

I love anything from ULTA (especially their beauty gems products), I of course love my Covergirl Queen Collection foundation I always use and more recently I have become a fan of Bare Minerals.

What are your top 3 clothing retailors?

Torrid, Forever21+, and ASOS.

Current hair products?
Cantu for natural hair. I transitioned in 2009 from chemically processing my hair to wearing it in natural and protective styles including box braids, Senegalese twists, weaves and wigs.

Where is your favorite place to purchase shoes?
I am obsessed with Torrid's shoe department and I have ordered multiple shoes from Justfab.com.

What is your biggest goal pertaining to fashion/beauty?
I would love to own my own salon and make up bar one day which would exclusively sale my line of cosmetics and hair products. I promise I WILL achieve that goal.
