It seems to me that 2014 is the year of Miley Cyrus. Love it, she looks almost unrecognizable but I love, love, love the fresh face look and the barely there make up. The "Bangerz" hit maker teamed up with Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott to make magic for her 2014 cover and spread in W Magazine.
A place with fashion lovers of all shapes, sizes, races and gender can come together and rejoice their love of fashion.

Rihanna Named Face of Balmain's Spring/Summer 2014 Campaign
The "What Now" singer has an obvious love for fashion and hasn't been afraid to "go there" with her looks. It's safe to say, the fashion industry embraced their badgirl back. He instagram is chalk full of jealousy inducing fashion, her line "Rihanna for Rivers Island" is a hit with the ladies all over, and she is an executive producer for the Bravo show "Styled to Rock." There is no limit to the star's shine and obvious sex appeal. Upon posting them on her instagram, she captioned the photo in true Rihanna fashion "Guess who's the new BALMAIN Woman???!!!!!!! #BALMAIN #MommaImadeIT #CaribbeanGalRunTing..."
The badgal shot the campaign in New York City last month by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Rih's personal stylist Mel Ottenberg styled the pop icon for the project. The photos show Rihanna in what look like she is in a steam room where she is serving face and sexy. In one of the ads, the singer is dressed in a pink and white Kimono style coat that has been accessorized with white lace gold-toed and heeled booties.
This campaign makes the singer the second song bird to land a major spring 2014 fashion campaign. Earlier this mother, Givenchy announced and revealed Erykah Badu as their spokes model. Seems like the fashion world is in love with the queens of music. Hoping for Beyonce to be named as a spokes model soon.

Rihanna's NY Recording Studio Look
Everyone's favorite badgal, Rihanna is back at it. The AMA Icon award recipient was spotted leaving a New York recording studio rocking a Rihanna-esq look.
The 25 year old singer wore a black Opening Ceremony patch work beanie with the brand's logo on the front, a black wool, double breasted coat with large asymmetrical lapels, draped back details front diagonal pockets and a button chest pocket. Just like the OC beanie, she rocked a black tee with the brand's contrast logo patch on the front. The bottoms she wore boasted a ribbed elastic waistband with drawstring ties, ribbed cuffs and two side pockets, and topping off the look she rocked a pair of classic New Balance trainers that feature a suede and mesh upper and solid rubber outsole. Adding a pop of color, the singer added a green fur scarf.
Once again this is only a look our fave badgal can rock.

Gucci Pre-Fall 2014 Collection
Frida Giannini decided that her Gucci Pre-Fall 2014 would approach would be, it helps to look down. Using 108-mm platform ankle booties of the Gucci horse-bit loafer which celebrated it sixtieth anniversary this year, gives the collection an almost laidback feel.
The collection includes elements of sharp hues, controlled volume, amped-up outerwear, and a mix of masculine-feminine appeal. Frida collided colors so close on the spectrum that it produced a new twist on monochromatic. Throughout the collection, she emphasized layering, then showed a day-to-night dress that had generous sleeves that were offset by a butterfly shaped basque, twice we hybridized of the classic Perfecto: elongating it into a dress coat then covering it in extra-plush gray shearling.
Don't think the label forgot about it's leg baring pieces. The collection has mini dresses and thigh baring skirts. Still the collection gave a nod to classic femininity using peplum belts to cinch the waists of their dresses, pleated dresses and flare-waist coats.
This year, the signature sex appeal look that Gucci is well known and recognized for is outdone sleek sportswear this season. Giannini's use of luxe fabrications, a leather shirt this as rice paper and a chubby in goat and Mongolian lamb fur are translated into not being impractical. The same could be said about the range of handbags the line incorporates. Embossed Diamante pattern is applied to clutches, buckets, and large double handle tote shaped bags. It's safe to say, that while it isn't the usual Gucci style, it is a knockout, home run for the infamous line.
